Sonoff DW2 Wi‑Fi Door/Window Sensor offers simple and smart security for any door or window. It connects directly to the eWeLink app over Wi‑Fi, so you don’t need any gateway. You get real-time alerts and can view up to three months of sensor history. It also links with cameras for instant visual checks when triggered.
Installing the sensor is quick. Just insert two AAA batteries and stick both units onto a door or window frame. The sensor connects using 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi and draws very little power, which helps the batteries last for months. When the battery gets low, the app will notify you in advance, so you never miss an alert.
When the sensor parts move more than 5 mm apart, it immediately sends a push notification. You can also pair it with supported cameras to see what caused the trigger. In addition, it supports IFTTT and works with smart assistants like Alexa, Google Assistant, and SmartThings. This makes it easy to add to any smart home setup.
The housing is made from flame-retardant PC V0 plastic and can handle temperatures between −10 °C and 40 °C. It works reliably in different home environments, from cool rooms to warm spaces.
